About Wes Waltenspiel
I was born and grew up in Reno, Nv. I grew up hearing stories of land prices at Tahoe being around $1000.00 per acre, on the Lake, with excellent terms such as $50.00 down and $10.00 per month. It is very interesting to look back at all the ups and downs that have gone on in real estate over the last 60 years. I went to local schools and graduated from UNR with a degree in Economics. I believe economics and real estate are two of the most interesting and complex fields and both have tangible effects on most of us. I love to hear stories concerning all manner of history, investing, economics, and people. Real Estate is first and foremost a people business; we all buy and sell for very personal and interesting reasons, with a huge variety of motivations.

I began my career in Real Estate at my wife’s company, Buyer Agent’s Remaklus Realty, and very much liked working with buyers. I have moved my license to my Father-in-law’s business, Keller Realty, in order to learn more aspects of this interesting business. Specifically I am working on a professional designation and am learning more about commercial and industrial Real Estate. I also wanted to take listings on all manner of RE and learn more about counseling and working with sellers as well as buyers.
I earned my private pilot’s license about ten years ago and enjoy flying around our beautiful mountains and desert. I am a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and a local Rotary Club. I keep very busy with work and enjoy many outdoor sports such as skiing, flying, bicycles, snow shoes, hiking, sailing, and motorcycles.
