The city of Reno has identified the Linden/Grove/Yori area of the RDA2* as a focus to clean up. In addition the city is researching other ways to help create a community feel in the area. One of the suggestions is to create a community garden for everyone to enjoy that may not have yards. I will be assiting with that process.
We are also seeing a big change with the Shopper's Square addition, which will be anchored by Staple's Office Supply store and Smart & Final.
As for sales recently this year in the area, in addition to the two properties I sold on Wrondel, there was a Mini Storage sold, two lots (one about 1 acre and the other 2.5 acrs) and a few homes. Sales are slow, as Seller's are holding on to their price. As the market continues to do it's thing, my clients are seeing the benefits of exchanging. If you like any of the properties we have listed, I can be sure every avenue will be explored to help you acquire the property. If interested please contact me directly at

*My specialty involves the Redevelopment Area #2, which specifically encompasses all properties south of Plumb, north of Moana and tucked between S. Virginia and Kietzke Lane. This includes the Parklane redevelopment area and properties that are on S. Virginia towards downtown.
